Shortly after the first recording of this CD, Ian Heavens (aka Jack Arade-Parede, Carlos O Jackal, Sandy McShane), co-founder of Bloco Vomit, died suddenly on the 22nd December 2000.
Sadly, this was the last time that he ever played with us, and possibly the last time he played samba. Ian has been a great loss.
